Always Something (to Believe In) Written by: Malea McGuinness & Gary Burr
I was lots of little pieces
I'd been glued and taped together
I was strung and tied the best way I knew how

I was one breath short of living
Til I found something to believe in
It's a simple think my heart has figured out

We all hurt, we all ache
Bend to the point we think we'll break
But there's always something to believe in

We all hope, we all climb
And leaving the ground's just a matter of time
There's always something to believe in
Something to believe in

If there was a candle of truth I'd be honest
Things don't get better overnight
It's one foot forward one step at a time

But that never stopped me from trying, I had nothing left to lose
When I hit the bottom I knew this was true

We all hurt, we all ache
Bend to the point we think we'll break
But there's always something to believe in

We all hope, we all climb
And leaving the ground's just a matter of time
There's always something to believe in
Something to believe in

If I always do what I've always done, I'll get what I've always got
So c'mon, c'mon, c'mon

In the Next Life Written by: Malea McGuinness, Gary Burr, Jim Huff
I did the best I could
Everything I knew how
To get to the hardened heart
You got this time around

You let all things beautiful
Slip through your careless hands
So all that I wish for you
Is you'll get a second chance

Maybe in the next life you'll let somebody love you
Maybe in the next life you'll fly the way you're meant to
Have to believe that you'll come back again
Pull the walls down, let someone in
Maybe in the next life you'll let somebody love you

If we pass on the street someday
Will you know how hard I tried
Guess we all meet for a reason
Ours was to say goodbye

Maybe in the next life you'll let somebody love you
Maybe in the next life you'll fly the way you're meant to
Have to believe that you'll come back again
Pull the walls down, let someone in

Maybe in the next life you'll let somebody love you
Have to believe that you'll come back again
Pull the walls down, let someone in
Maybe in the next life you'll let somebody love you

Stars
Words & Music by: Malea McGuinness
There's a wild and lonely child at the airport
and she's standing there with tears in her eyes

It's freezing cold but she's dressed for summer
and she's watching all the families rush by

She's hoping that someone will want her and love her
for the rest of her days

They're like Stars
Crystal painted stars
Don't pull them from the sky
Don't take away their shine
Put shadows on the lights they are

They're like Stars
Without them it's cold and dark
Never let them fall, try to catch them all
They're like stars

He's never had a birthday or Christmas
He's never read a book though he's five
He's trying to fix his own frozen dinner trying to keep him
and his sister alive

Just another child that's been thrown away, another child
this world has lost

They're like Stars
Crystal painted stars
Don't pull them from the sky
Don't take away their shine
Put shadows on the lights they are

They're like Stars
Without them it's cold and dark
Never let them fall, try to catch them all
They're like stars

The next time I'm running, caught up in myself
I'm gonna stop, ask how can I help
If I don't notice, then something's wrong with me
I'm missing the beauty in front of me

Chorus

Miss Moonlight Words & Music by: Malea McGuinness
Hey there Miss Moonlight
Dazzle in the spotlight
Dancing in the heavens

Hey there Miss Moonlight
Fantasy and Starlite
Castle building in the air

Bright places
Shine on faces
You can do anything
You can do anything

All you need is Moonlight
And a little spotlight
Dancing in the heavens

Hey there Miss Moonlight
Fantasy and Starlite
Castle Building in the Air

Bright places
Shine on faces
You can do anything
You can do anything

Sweet Words & Music by: Malea McGuinness and Nathan Meckel
I've never been better, blame it all on you
kissed out the bitter and I blame that on you too
And I won't let you live it down anytime too soon

I won't ever be the same
I got it in a bad, bad way

And It's so sweet/ sweet love
You hold me close everyday
It's beautiful in every way
It's sweet/sweet love
It's alright with me

I love to wake up in my new reality
With a halo of sunlight lighting up my street
So far from the darkness that was chasing after me

It feels so right I just want to
Lay my heart down next to you

Cause it's so sweet/sweet love
You hold me close everyday
It's beautiful in every way
It's sweet/sweet love/sweet love
It's alright with me
It's alright with me

In a wonderful, wild way
I've never felt so
Complete...

It's so sweet
It's so sweet
And it's so sweet/ sweet love/sweet
You hold me close everyday
It's beautiful in every way
It's sweet/ sweet love/sweet love/so sweet so sweet
It's alright with me

True Believer Written by: Malea McGuinness & Scott Hackworth
True Believer it's good to have you back again
You've been away for far too long
Good to know where you belong

Sunshine, fills my window
Good rhymes fill my head
And tell me all my dreams come true

True Believer saw you once in a dream
You said that you'd be back for me
And here you are truthfully

Sunshine fills my window
Good rhymes fill my head
And tell me all my dreams come true

Jesus Was A Crossmaker Written by: Judee Sill
Sweet silver angels over the sea
please come down flying low for me

One time I trusted a stranger
'cause I heard his sweet song
And it was gently enticing me
though there was something wrong
When I turned he was gone

Blinding me his song remains reminding me
he's a bandit and a heartbreaker
Oh but Jesus was a crossmaker

He wages war with the devil
a pistol by his side
And though he chases him out my window and
won't give him a place to hide
He keeps his door open wide
Fighting him
he lights a lamp inviting him
He's a bandit and a heartbreaker
oh but Jesus was a crossmaker

I hear the thunder come rumbling
the light never looked so dim
I see the junction get nearer
and danger's in the wind
and either road's looking grim
Hiding me I flee desire's dividing me

He's a bandit and a heartbreaker
Oh but Jesus was a crossmaker
Yeah but Jesus was a crossmaker

The Phoenix Written by: Judee Sill
You're like an angel born with just one wing
You cannot leave the ground until you try
One desperate moment changes everything
You can't run-you've got to fly!

So don't try to hold on to all that you have
Don't stop to look down
Here we are once again take a breath you know you can close your eyes
And just let go
No matter what you do, no matter what you say, never gonna turn and walk away

So don't be afraid to fall

Just like a pearl in the hand of fate, trying to find just where you belong
The world's your shell that you can't escape and in the end you're still alone

So don't try to hold on to all that you have
Don't stop to look down
Here we are once again take a breath you know you can close your eyes
And just let go
No matter what you do, no matter what you say, never gonna turn and walk away
So don't be afraid to fall

Cause nothing stays with you in endless space
Stars are blazing everywhere
Above your head I see a brand new day but you don't see and that's why
You're so so scared

Here we are once again close your eyes and just pretend, hold my hand or just
Let go, oh, no matter, no matter, where you are, don't be afraid
Don't be afraid to fall, cause I will be there through it all, don't be afraid to fall

Looking for Love Written by: Malea McGuinness & Gary Burr
It's a story ripe for telling and I've held it in the best I can
It took a lot of brokenness to make me finally understand

Round and Round, It's never enough
Lost and always looking for love

A Mother's supposed to hold you not make you hold your breath
A Father should protect you not scare you half to death

One night they came to get me in a state owned Chevrolet
Looked me and my sister over, put us in and drove away

Round and Round, It's never enough
Lost and always looking for love
Round and Round
Lost and always looking for love

I'd like to say the pain was over and I'd learned what family is
Things are never what they seem
Another town, another fist

But We're stronger than we think we are, we can take a lot
One day the young girl realized she could give the pain she got

Round and Round, It's never enough
Lost and always looking for love
Round and Round
Lost and always looking for love

Couldn't see the future
Couldn't see that things might change
Couldn't know if she'd be loved
it might happen anyway

It's a neverending story that makes me sad to say
But every sunrise keeps me hoping I'll close the book someday

Round and Round it's never enough
lost and always looking for love
Round and Round it's never enough
Lost and always looking for love
Lost and always looking for love

Girl In the Mirror Written by: Malea McGuinness & Gary Burr
Her face is the one I try not to see
But she's in every mirror in front of me
I pretend to be brave, I do that a lot
Then I look in her eyes and she tells me I'm not

So til I can look and not see the fear
I'll stay away from the girl in the mirror

She wants me to doubt and keep my dreams small
Who do I think I am after all?
She wants me to know I'm never enough
Keep my fingernails bitten that's what she loves

So til the day comes when she disappears
I'll stay away from the girl in the mirror

I could hang her in the closet under the stairs
Or stick her in the attic
Forget that she's there
But what good would it do to I lock her away?
I won't see myself get stronger every day

Now her face is the one I'm happy to see
She looks like the person I'm trying to be
It's been a long road
And now that I'm here
I think I might like the girl in the mirror
